While I love using digital tools when creating commissioned work because it expands possibilities and horizons, makes adjustments easier and allows for more flexibility, I love going back to analog tools in my personal practice. I love letting the marks, paper textures and bristle brushes take me on an unexpected journey. I usually start a piece with a direction in mind, but most times, the painting comes to life and takes its own shape as long as I surrender to the process, and let it do so.
